How do I download the app?

Visit our download page and click on the APK download button. Once downloaded, open the file and follow the installation instructions.

Do I need to be a student to use the app?

Yes, the ADUSTECH mobile app is exclusively for current students of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology. You'll need your student email to register.

Is the app free?

Yes! The ADUSTECH mobile app is completely free for all students.

Installation Issues

"Install blocked" error

If you see this message:

  1. Go to SettingsSecurity
  2. Enable "Unknown Sources" or "Install from Unknown Sources"
  3. Return to your downloads and tap the APK file again

App won't install

Make sure you have:

  • At least 100MB of free storage space
  • Android 8.0 or higher
  • Stable internet connection for verification

Account & Login

I forgot my password

On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password". Enter your registered email and we'll send you a reset link.

Can't verify my email

Check your spam folder. If you still don't see the verification email, tap "Resend Verification" on the login screen.

How do I update my profile?

Go to the Profile tab, tap the edit icon, update your information, and save changes.

Features & Usage

How do I join a channel?

Department channels are automatically assigned based on your profile. For other channels, go to ChannelsBrowse → tap "Join".

Can I create my own channel?

Currently, only admins can create new channels. Contact support if you need a new channel created.

How do notifications work?

Enable notifications in your phone's settings. Go to SettingsAppsADUSTECHNotifications → Enable.

Technical Support

App keeps crashing

Try these solutions:

  1. Clear app cache: Settings → Apps → ADUSTECH → Storage → Clear Cache
  2. Update to the latest version
  3. Restart your phone
  4. Reinstall the app

Content not loading

Check your internet connection. Pull down on any screen to refresh. If the problem persists, try logging out and back in.

Can't upload images

Grant camera and storage permissions:

  • Settings → Apps → ADUSTECH → Permissions
  • Enable Camera and Storage
